Philanthropy is commendable, but it must not cause the philanthropist to overlook the circumstances of economic injustice which make philanthropy necessary.

Why are you SEXING to the minor?!
My Auntie Baby [with a Pilipino accent] to our pug, Wringo (almost 2 yrs old), as he is humping our Boston terrier, Dazzle (approx. 1.5 yrs old).

I think I am figuring out how life works..

..but I still don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing in it yet. :/

If the world were merely seductive, that would be easy. If it were merely challenging, that would be no problem. But I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day.

I know you’re not supposed to use your cell phone in church, but this was just so pretty.. I had to take a picture! Unfortunately, this pic doesn’t even do justice to what I saw..

If you ever have the chance, you should make a visit to St. Monica’s Catholic Church for mass. Their service is beautiful! The priest, Monsignor Lloyd Torgerson, is a really great speaker and knows how to get his message out without being too preachy, but more so forreal. The community there itself is very strong. They have a very large and consistent congregation. I’ve never gone there very regularly (just because my parish church is closer), but from what i can tell they seem to have a very strong mission towards working for social justice. The best thing at St. Monica’s though has got to be their choir and music ministry!! It is beyond amazing!! They say singing is praying twice— well, the singing here really makes me want to participate in the mass and reflect on my faith, so I must be praying thrice or even more! :)

St. Monica’s really does a great job with putting on a very engaging mass.. In this picture, they dimmed the lights while a man and woman performed a liturgical dance to a beautiful song sung by two choir soloists! AMAZING!!
